I am a textile designer/maker and hand produce a collection of contemporary accessories and gifts from my home studio in West Kilbride on the West coast of Scotland.
My work is varied but always carefully crafted with clean lines, neat stitching and a close attention to detail. I love using Scottish tweeds, in particular those produced on the islands of Harris and Bute. My range of tweed Scottie Dogs and Daschunds are a particular customer favourite and have travelled globally as gifts from time spent in West Kilbride and Scotland.
Felt is one of my favourite fabrics to work with and I produce a large range of products with it, particularly at Christmas. My most recent designs have been for a collection of quirky hand stitched textile postcards which as well as being for sale are also the basis of my newest workshops for 2014.
In the beautiful surroundings of Underhill cottage I offer textile tutorials, courses and workshops based around my designs and suitable for a wide range of abilities and levels of interest.
